like, you have to rotate it 90 degrees to the left to fully appreciate it. yeah yeah, too much for a two-day exhibit required by a ge subject. can't blame my artistic juices for flowing. >=P

yuuki miaka (did i get the spelling right?), my first artwork in college.. request kasi ni angel, a blockmate and good friend. i asked gerome for criticisms, kht na ayokong makarinig (hehe!), coz i know somethin was off with the draft. it turned out okei... =)

chichiri! a gift for nikototz, our siaoti. i made this while i was in the hospital, dad got confined. i started working on this at around 4pm, and until dad got discharged, i was like coloring the hair with the cheap sign pen that i bought just for this piece. i finished at 12am, and dun palang ako nagsimulang mag-aral for an exam the next day. hehe. i bought plastic cover and gift wrapper in national bookstore then hurriedly covered and wrapped it up in the lib. i glued a letter at the back, plus some designs etc. i instructed niko to open it at 12am. aun, binuksan nya ng 9pm pa lang.^^

ahhh xempre, dapat maging proud sa nagiisang talent ko. well, if you guys consider being b*tchy and a spoiled brat talents, then it isn't alone. hehe joke lang! pero i do excel at being stubborn and a hardcore spoiled brat. anyways, there's a story (or a person asking) behind every drawing and i thought i'd share it lang. i've already posted my chii and kotori pieces. about the chichiri drawing.. nahirapan kasi ako mag-isip ng gift for niko, kaya, drawing na lang. hihi. nga pala, fortunately, wala namang malalang nangyaring malala kay papa. to save precious time, i drew this habang nasa room, naghihintay sa discharge papers. nung nsa lib na, huckie was looking at me at nang-asar pa ng konti. well, weird nga naman, nagpunta ako dun para magcover at magbalot ng gift. ehehehe... oh yeah, sabi ni niko, naluha raw siya sa gift ko. pano, ang drama ng letter sa likod. mejo naiyak nga rin ako nung ginagawa ko un. haayyy, ang laki kong drama. pero natutuwa ako dahil nagustuhan nya.^_^

dun sa painting naman, nagpatulong ako kay tito joven sa color and shadowing, hindi ko pa kasi gamay yung acrylic nun. nawala yung ibang details.. pero okei lang naman yung kinalabasan. instant income yan. >:)

---------random thoughts---------

+ i was horrified when tyra said, "jayla and nicole, you were on top of the pack. but now you're standing in front of me. the two of you gave great pictures, but when you opened your mouths, (blah blah can't remember), so, the two of you have to pack your bags..." waaahhhh! my two favorites got kicked off in one elimination?!

+"...coz you, you, you, you, you, and you, and everybody else, are going to fly to london!" everyone was dumbfounded, including me! it was a no elimination night!! i felt relieved as i watched tyra dance around, the models hugging, ms. j kissing the girls on the cheeks, soliders marching in, and cute nicole crying to tyra. wheeewwww...................

+only 6 top model aspirants are left and i can see that tension sparks are constantly flying. can't wait for the next episode of america's next top model! haayy grabe, the gorgeous girls and all that drama make me love ETC more and more. plus, the hunks, great looking clothes, jewelries, hollywood stars..... =P

+i am completely over that summer fling

+i want to have my hair curled coz i think i look better with it. yeah my hair's wavy but i want to define my curls (naks. hehe!)

+wanna donate books to the children that i teach?! i do volunteer catechism teaching every wednesday at tahilan residence in manila. you guys can give christian kiddie books, tagalog or english, and/or cds of flying house and super book.

+although they act rough and speak salitang kalye, they're good kids. very smart, too!

+through them, i've learned that life can never be fairytale perfect. problems are there to keep us rooted to the ground and to help us become stronger.

+at a young age, they're already exposed to the hardships of life but you know what's impressive? they do not blame their parents, God, or anyone else for their state. mas tumitindi pa nga yung pagmamahal nila para sa pamilya, pati yung hangarin na makatulong..

+so... donate! these kids can really use your help. and para na rin mas marami kaming maturuan..^_^
