HP craze (again).. and the latest adventure
I know it's our semestral break (and it's gonna end soon. waahhh!), but why am I feeling too lazy to type an update? Originally, I planned to devote this day to typing my adventures in the past weeks (i.e. sleeping from 4am-4pm, waking up at 1pm and then sleeping again at 4pm onwards, eating 6-7 or more times, dvd marathon while eating, etc.) but! I ended up busy with the Harry Potter (& Daniel Radcliffe *drool*) websites. I visited Mugglenet.com, the Leaky Cauldron, JKRowling.com, HarryPotter.com, and YouTube.com to watch his videos. I remember mentioning about this lil Potter story in my head. I'm hooked again. Images keep on running in my mind for hours.. and I built up the basic plot in no time. Frustrated writer kasi ako eh. Hehe. Yeah, I can write but honestly I sometimes can't find the right words, unlike before, which was so easy. I need to brush up on my writing skills again and read books, books, books. Mag-LoA kaya ako para magawa ko un?! I'd like to put words to my story but, alas, there's never enough time, too. Haaayyy... -_-
Back to my HP craze. I've posted the links in the (duh!) Links section and even devoted a sub section for my bespectacled and messy haired hero. And i have a new wish... Never mind that I scratched out world peace as the finale, this one, if ever fulfilled, would make me the super duper very very oh-so-lucky-i-can-die-now girl in the whole wide universe... to MEET DANIEL RADCLIFFE. And maybe go out with him even for just one night. Think of "fan girl wins a date with her wickedly hot celeb crush." I'd immediately grab the first chance that'd come my way!! So please, give me that chance now! I'm desperateeeeee!

who wouldn't want to meet him?!
How desperate? I'm eyeing his upcoming play entitled "Equus," which will open on the 16th of February 2007 at the Gielgud Theatre, and is directed by Peter Shaffer. It's abroad, for pete's sake! How the heck am i gonna watch the play?? Huhuhu. Unless some kind soul would give me a minimum of a hundred grand (ticket, plane fare, lodging, etc) *hint* *hint* ooor my parents would win in the lottery. Until either happens, i'm just a poor unfortunate fan girl who can't get enough of Daniel. Ooohhh.. And! And! And I'm even thinking of writing to him! One of his sites features his mailing addresses.. Maybe I'll do a charcoal drawing. Now, that might attract his attention and possibly, just possibly, earn me a special Daniel package that everyone's been coveting. I am sooo gonna pray hard for all of those! do i sound like a die-hard lunatic or what? haha.. :)

i wanna watch!!!

hoooottttt!

my man... ;)
By the way, I was joking about the adventure part up there. *grins* We did go on an adventure, and what a long one it was! Our fam went to Loyola Mem. Park in P'que for the annual visit to the dearly departed. There were lots of food, and of course, flowers, candles, stories, and jokes. Mom and Dad mentioned about our trip and before I knew it, arrangements were already made! My aunts were definitely going with us.
So our journey started at 2pm and ended at 12am in Nueva Vizcaya, our first stop. Ehrm.. We waited for our relatives in San Jose, Nueva Ecija (I think) where we ate dinner in Jollibee (there wasn't a McDonald's nearby). The cold temp. and the fog were enough to excite me when we stopped in this restau-cum-coffe shop-cum souvenir shop in the Vizcaya boundary. We checked in at Saber Inn after another hour of driving through the mountains. The following day, Tito Lito, a B-Meg Vet in the northern area, accompanied us to Banaue. He was our guide for the trip and I must say, he did a great job. He even paid for our meals, lodging, etc. Hehe. I finally got to see the 8th Wonder of the World! We took lots of pictures... and *-_-* traveled another 7 hours through the rough mountain road (w/c was beside a very deep bangin. Yikes! But it was okay coz we saw more fantastic rice terraces and small waterfalls on the road side!).
Sagada is a LOT colder than Vizcaya. Very mountain-ey but it provided a fantastic view of the landscape! We visited the Burial Cave first. It was a short (but steep) hike. It took us about an hour since the adults were kindda slow. But they didn't mind that and instead, kept on joking about their age, weight, etc. It even helped me develop some kind of conclusion, "Age is directly proportional to the Time taken to hike in the mountains." True, noh? Hehe!
Then we went spelunking in the Sumaging Cave!! Stupid of me to wear my brown flip flops because they're darn slippery. Good thing I managed to pull it off... and I'm not gonna mention that those flips almost killed me. Mud, guano, sharp rocks, high steps, loose rocks... You do the math. Halfway through, the guides instructed us to remove our footwear because the rocks that we're gonna encounter are totally slip-free though water's running over them. Aaahhh... I think words aren't enough to describe the beauty of the cave and the excitement that we were all feeling! I'm gonna upload all the pictures in my Multiply account so I can share them with you.^_^ After 2 hours of caving, we emerged from Sumaging happy... and muddy, wet, with disheveled hair, sugar-deprived, exhausted, wounded, bruised, thirsty....

Tita Fern called in a masseuse, Maria, the following night, right after we shopped for souvenirs. I can't believe how cheap the cute bracelets are! They don't look cheap at all. Even the handwoven bags, mobile phone cases, necklaces, and silver accessories are sold at low prices; we also bought some Sagada shirts (and I wear them with pride!). Actually, we arrived here in Manila just last night.. 'round 1am I guess. That makes.. Uhm, 9am-1am.. more or less 14 looooonnnngggg hours of travel, with 1-2 hours of lunch and dinner.
Is it proper to mention that Mom lost 7k? The money fell from her pocket. Hehe. Can't really blame her because she's tired and very sleepy. Oh well, we'll recover. Hah! I dunno.. But that loss is hardly felt. Hhmm... She does have a lot of resources.
I'm gonna end this now. This has got to be my longest post ever!! See ya 'round. I still have more Harry Potter/Dan Radcliffe dreaming to do. Haha. Ciao!
