Shameful. Haha.
The
most embarrassing moment of my life has finally come! Glaring lights, heavy stares, people waiting for you to speak.. Aahh, what feeling!(-_-)
We had our impromptu speech earlier in Comm3 and yeah, it was a complete disaster for me. I completely didn't expect what I picked! Imagine making a speech out of "FHM," "Thomas Malthus," and "Anger." The instant I saw those words, I knew that it wasn't going to be good. I tried including "Media" and "Economy" in the umbrella of general ideas... Unfortunately I still wasn't able to connect them. So I ended up talking about, well, politicians killing media men.. And after 3minutes *poof!* my brain was already on panic mode because I was at a loss for words. I wasn't able to end my speech properly and my only saving grace was my smile. It was the longest 5 minutes of my life.
The good thing with me is, I don't have the "please-kill-me-now-for heaven's-sake!!" feeling. But yeah, I'm quite disappointed with what happened. Maybe if the words were "Darfur," "Climate Change," "Spiderman3," "Segolene Royal," "Nicolas Sarkozy," "Paris Hilton," "Francois Bayrou," "Sudan," "Virginia Tech," "Global Warming," then I could've said a LOT. I just couldn't relate with the words that I picked. Caught off-guard. A really ugly feeling. Am I cursed or what? I'm starting to believe that all the negative energy are concentrated on my hands that's why they're plain unlucky (blame it on the hands. Haha!). Although my hopes for a high grade are already down the drain, I still have another chance to redeem myself: I have to give my best on our Extemporaneous Speech. And remind me to find a better corporate attire. =P
Sabi ni Telites, " 'Di bale, maganda ka pa rin naman." She really knows how to cheer me up! haha. But I'm kindda worried. I hope people aren't going to think of me as a "starfish" because of my speech blunder.. (-_-)
Ay, NatSci Exam bukas. Then, Saturday is IMax SPiderman3 day! Woohoo!
...I almost forgot, my mobile phone fell on the toilet bowl. GROSS! It's totally whacked now and still wet, unusable. I still haven't told my folks 'bout it but goodness, why am I not feeling nervous?! Siguro dahil mapapalitan naman kagad.. Hay, sayang ang contacts at messages!(-_-)
